„Giving Blood” in Zlate Moravce (Slovakia) under the patronage of Knights of Malta (KMFAP)

On the 11th December 2012 Sir Peter Lednár – Deputy Minister of Home Affairs of the “Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories” (KMFAP) organised for the second time a public “Blood-giving Day” in Zlate Moravce, Slovakia.

The event took place under the patronage of the Knights of Malta (KMFAP) at the City Hall of Zlate Moravce. This year 57 blood-givers participated actively at this humanitarian action, which lasted 5 hours (7.00-12.00).

The organisers prepared food, soft drinks and fruits for the present blood donors, and informed everyone about the next dates of blood-giving in 2013, which will be held again in the City Hall of Zlate Moravce at Valentine's Day, then at Student's Day and at a third day, which will be appointed officially by the Mayor of the city.

Hereby we wish to express our gratitude to the blood donors for participating and also to Sir Peter Lednár for organising this significant and important humanitarian event, as “blood-giving can save lives”.
